Assemble and Hose Connection

Connect the twin-line safety hose between the low-profile drive and the pump. Ensure quick-connect couplings are fully engaged and locked.

Pressure Setting

Consult the torque chart to match target torque in Ft-lbs to pump pressure (PSI). Adjust the external relief valve on the pump to set limit.

Precision Tightening

Place the wrench on the nut. Advance the cylinder using the remote pendant control until the pump reaches preset pressure. Retract and repeat.

Positioning the Tensioner

Thread the puller sleeve onto the bolt stud extending above the flange nut, placing the hydraulic cell directly over it.

Hydraulic Pressure Application

Apply 21,750 PSI fluid pressure, stretching the bolt stud axially. The gap opens up between the flange and the nut.

Securing the Joint

Use a tommy-bar to hand-tighten the nut against the flange surface. Release pressure, allowing the bolt to shrink back and establish secure tension.

Traceable Transducer Verification

Tools are mounted in calibration jigs equipped with digital transducers traceable to international standard laboratories.

Cycle Pressure Verification

We perform 3 consecutive high-load cycles to ensure structural stability and zero oil leaks across fittings.
